The Cooperstown Graduate Program makes all attempts to remain accessible to a wider audience by keeping costs of attendance lower than many other graduate programs. Our affiliation with SUNY Oneonta means students pay a more affordable state university tuition.

For the 2023-2024 school year, tuition for New York State resident students is $11,310/year and tuition for out-of-state students is $23,790/year. You can check recent information regarding tuition costs and fees here.

scholarships and assistance

Keeping with our effort to make CGP affordable, we offer a variety of scholarships and assistantships to our students. 100% of students who request a scholarship from CGP receive money. Additional funds are available for special circumstances.

We also offer both first and second year assistantships for students to earn money by working in the field with professors. Nine Graduate Assistantships are available to second year students. Recipients of these assistantships receive a tuition waiver and bi-weekly stipend.
